Miles  (Distances calculated on a straight line by GPS)
Covered to date:                  311
Remaining to Antigua:   1798

Weather: Overcast, 25° C

Wind: 10- 20 knots, NE

Seas: 1-3 meter swells

Sailing:  Wind died down yesterday evening for a while, but we’ve been progressing nicely today with main and head sail.

Crew Well-being and Morale:
Good, but wish the sun would come out. …

Lunch:          Macaroni and cheese
Dinner:         Chili con carne and rice

Of Special Interest:.
•       Found several little flying fish on deck this morning.
•       Alan caught a 2 ½ lb./1+ kg yellow fin tuna (a jack?) and landed it perfectly!  We doused it with rum and hope to catch its brother tomorrow and have them both for lunch.
•
‘Delight of the day’:  Alan for sorting out our brake (gybe preventer) and for being the only crew member to  provide food and not just eat it!
