Miles:
Covered to date:  505
Remaining to Cap Verde:  356
Remaining to Antigua:   2506

Avg Boat Speed:  6.5 knots

Weather: Fair but hazy, 24°
Wind: 14-22 knots, E-NE

Seas:  Very rolly. Slightly Rough, 2 Meter Swells

Crew Well-being and Morale:  Continues to be excellent.  Watch routines well established and catching up on sleep.  A bit of queasiness, but no real seasickness.

Menu:
Lunch:  Alan’s homemade bread, Spanish ham and cheese
Dinner:  Roast pork with ratatouille

Of Special Interest:
•       Crossed paths and spoke on the VHF with a tugboat towing 2 barges measuring 500 meters long at 2:00 am.  Successfully avoided collision.
•       Reached half-way point of no return at 8:00 am
•       Hydrogenerator working well.
•       Patrice is making water of the finest quality on a daily basis (thanks to the de-salinator).  However, he hasn’t figured out how to turn it into wine yet…

Delight’ of the day:  Captain Patrice for giving me an extra half hour sleep before waking me up for my midnight watch.
